Let me look at you...nope, you didn't do it this time....

Mike McD! For a guy who doesn't play cards, you sure spend alot of time in card rooms....

I guess Curb is one of those love it or hate it type of shows. What can I say, it's a riot. Understand, I didn't take to it immediately. It's the subtle idiocy of the show that makes me laugh. The stupid shit that Larry David is always saying, and you just cringe. I mean, the guy offers to buy his dad weed for his glaucoma, and he approaches the drug dealer on the street. "Ill give you shwag for 200 bucks." "Hmm, 200 bucks. For shwag. Is that, is that a good price, for shwag? Is that the usual price?" Just so funny to me. What can I say, I have laughed watching Arliss, I admit it. If you like Seinfeld, you should like Curb. It's the same thing, except with cursing, and less writing, more improv. Like telling the blind guy, "Don't you prefer the red one?" To which he replies, dead panned, "I don't know what red is." Damn, that's funny.

You know I will never switch Cheers. The greatest show, period! I will not argue this.

Cliff: Makes me sorry God made me a man.
Carla: I don't think God's doin a whole lotta braggin about it either!

I hear you on the Bay Area. Not a single freaking mention? Admittedly, there has been a nice history, and you have to look at history. The Raiders have been successful. The A's have been very successful. The Giants always make the postseason, the Sharks are pretty good for a 12 year old team. But the Warriors are enough to make the Bay a success vacuum. How far away are we from success? 5 years? 10 years? What sucks is....we'll wait! The Giants are just a joke. New ball park. Great management. Best player in the game. Can't do squat. Meanwhile, the freaking Marlins have TWO titles. TWO!!! I assume we will make the list shortly.... It's just because there is this lame idea that west coast fans don't care, so how could we be tortured. We don't care because we keep getting let down! Ever notice that Laker fans are pretty damn excited?!?!? Screw it....

Have you seen Jared Weaver's stats at Long Beach State this season? 14-0, 1.23 ERA, 182 K's in 122 innings with 14 walks and 63 hits allowed. Screw Mark Prior, that is freaking insane. I dont care if this guy never makes the show, putting up those numbers against West Coast competition with aluminum bats made from the same stuff they make missile casings out of, well, that's unbelievable.

Speaking of which, of course I am biased, but I love college baseball. I hate people giving it a hard time, because of the PING! It's pure baseball. Get in the dirt, hustle up, spit dip juice on your buddy's leg-type baseball. That's what the game is supposed to be like. Dirt bags. Not A-Rod and Jeter modeling for GQ between innings. Give me crapasses like Kruk and Dibble. Hey speaking of which, John Kruk SUCKS on Baseball Tonight. Is that guy gargling peanut butter? He doesn't even know which camera to look at. Mumbling about this and that, and then just saying outlandish shit to get notice. Hey, uh, I think, Paul Abbott is underrated. Hey, uh, I think Jim Thome should bunt more. Move Piazza to center field. What the hell are you talking about, Michelin Man?

If Simmons gets ESPN6, I want ESPN7. One show will be Former Major Leaguer Round Table. Ex major leaguers, even minor leaguers, sitting in a room, table full of Bud Light and Jack Daniels, just telling stories about the locker room, and the crap their teammates pulled. There is nothing more entertaining. It would be the highest rated show of all time. I guarantee it. In addition, Id like to have NBA Foreigner Karaoke. Nowitzki and Mutombo singing Ebony and Ivory? Tell me you wouldn't buy that CD.

I don't know if I want the Warriors to get a top 3 pick tonight. There are some real good players in this draft that people have never heard of. Foreign big men who can move, shoot, and really play. Im actually bummed that they dont have a second round pick. Also, why are there only two rounds? Is it really that hard to create a minor league system, and go to four rounds or something? I mean, couldnt the Warriors put a squad in San Jose, the Kings in Modesto, the Lakers and Clippers in San Diego and Santa Barbara, maybe Phoenix in Las Vegas, etc. How much would that cost? You telling me you wouldn't go see the Warriors' minor league team in San Jo? I'd get season tickets fool! I am a firm believer that the more something makes sense, the less likely it is to happen. It wouldnt cost that much, relatively speaking. The players would cost next to nothing, just happy to have a job. Fold the damn CBA and the USBL, fold in the NBDL.

Quick Bay Area note: I think I really hate Ralph Barbieri. Guy never shuts up. Ever. And he interrupts people when they are talking. Great journalism, idiot. Ask a guest a question, then answer it for them half way into their own answer. That is so unprofessional. And don't even try to tell the guy, cause he is such an ego maniac, he can't take criticism. I miss Kornheiser....
